Enterprise Asia, the leading non-governmental organization for entrepreneurship in Asia, announced 18 winners of The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2018 Vietnam held at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Vietnam.
Enterprise Asia, the leading non-governmental organization for entrepreneurship in Asia, announced 18 winners of The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2018 Vietnam held at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Vietnam.With the theme of'Promoting Inclusive Economic Development Through Sustainable Entrepreneurship', over 200 attendees were present at the by-invitation only event, comprising of industry leaders, leading entrepreneurs and Ambassadors.

Dato'William Ng, President of Enterprise Asia says, "As advocates of entrepreneurship, we believe that entrepreneurship does not only provide a compelling alternative to individuals to secure their livelihood, but also serve as an important catalyst to promote economic resilience. We want to leverage this program to recognize and honor the dedicated work done by these entrepreneurs who helped to spur economic development inVietnam."
"This year, Enterprise Asia is spearheading the Innovation Revolution,InnovationRevmovement to create an innovation ecosystem for enterprises. We will be bringing together over 400 innovation experts and business leaders inMacauon 14thand 15thof December for the International Innovation Summit and Awards 2018. This is just the beginning of theInnovationRevmovement in conjunction with the release of InnoMarkTM, the International Certification for Innovation. InnoMarkTMaims to define innovation, while providing the tool and platform for companies to showcase their innovations and rapidly commercializing them," shared Mr. Ng.
Organized by Enterprise Asia since 2007, APEA is a regional awards program which aims to recognizeAsia'soutstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises for demonstrating sustainable growth, responsible leadership and operational excellence. The event also seeks to gather leading entrepreneurs to spur innovation, fair practices, and sustainable entrepreneurial practices across the Asia Pacific Region. The prestigious award ceremonies are currently held in over 14 countries and markets. This year, the committee had received 80 by-invitation only nominations inVietnamacross 24 industry categories.
"I choose work, innovations, fighting for justice, and supporting the disadvantaged as the course of my life," shared MrNguyen Dang Giap, Colonel, Hero of Labour, Chairman and General Director of The 36 Corporation after receiving the Award under Outstanding Category.
Mr. Ng says, "APEA is at the forefront in promoting the convergence of innovative entrepreneurship and professional leadership. The recipients of the APEA are not only outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises, but also demonstrated outstanding business acumen that are both sustainable and exemplary. They all uphold the highest standards of entrepreneurship, which includes allegiance to the two founding pillars of Enterprise Asia, namely Investment in People and Responsible Entrepreneurship."
